This 3 story Camps Bay home was designed with a greyscale colour pallet throughout all the spaces. The materials in the kitchen were chosen to bring in texture, reflection, movement and interest without deviating from this brief. High gloss white sprayed panels and a white glass splash backs formed the core material of this space. The grey aluminium framed Vogue mirror flap up doors reflected the sea views and housed the extractor and above counter lighting over the prep and cooking areas. The countertops were chosen for their matt finish, hard wearing properties and thin profile. Neolith “Calacatta” tops created the center feature island and “Cement” tops where used on the rest of the surfaces. SMEG appliances included ovens, coffee machine, extractor, hob, integrated fridge/freezer and warming drawer. Warm white LED lighting light up the plinths for mood lighting in the evenings. Hardware included hinges and drawer runners from German imported brand, Hettich. Hailo bins and Kessebohmer storage internals were used to maximize the internal cupboard space.
